What's the best Browning for trap shooting?
So I want to get a Cynergy for trap shooting.
With all the models, I am a bit confused.
The ones I am interested in are:
Cynergy Euro Sporting Composite with Adj Comb
Cynergy Euro Sporting with Adj Comb
Cynergy Classic Trap with Adj Comb
Whats "Euro" mean?
The Chambers on the Euros are 3" and the Trap is 2 3/4".
Is the smaller chamber better for Trap?
Would that even matter with choke tubes?
I really like the Euro models, but not if the Trap model is better for trap shooting since that is all I will do. I do not hunt.
I kind of want an Over Under.
I have just always loved that look.
Does a single barrel offer any advantages?
I agree with Mikey. You couldn't give my a Cynergy shotgun to use for anything. The BT-99 is the way to go. It was/is so popular that Browning discontinued making it about 15 years ago and introduced the BT-100. Suddenly, every gunshop in the country was getting frantic calls from trapshooters trying to find the old BT-99 shotguns before they were all gone. Gunshop owners called Browning to complain that they had scores of people wanting to buy the discontinued BT-99, but no takers on the BT-100. Browning took note of this and started making the BT-99 shotguns again. It's the most popular trap gun that Browning makes.
