How often should I shampoo and condition my hair?
I am a 20 year old male. I started using a hair straightener but it dries my hair out a lot and also some of the hairs are becoming bent and my whole head of hair is just really dry and frizzy.
I use a chi hair straightener as well as chi silk infusion as a protector beforehand. Right now I shampoo and condition every day and straighten about 3 times per week. What should I do?
so what do I do just hop in the shower daily but not touch my hair at all with shampoo or anything?
you shouldnt wash your hair everyday because you are not allowing your natural oils to be on your hair. you should strighten it and wait 2-3 days to shampoo and condition. this will allow your hair to take in the natural oils and less straightening which both will decrease so much frizz and dryness.try putting on a shower cap or wet it lightly but just dont put shampoo or conditioner on it.
