I Want Big, Voluminous, Thick Hair - Best Products?
I have long, very fine, semi-thick, straight blonde hair. It's very dry, so I use a moisturizing conditioner which weighs down my hair a bit and makes it a little stringy. I am currently using a few different products when I dry it - Pureology smooth down (to protect it from heat), and either Pantene Pro-V volume mousse, or Bumble and Bumble Styling Lotion. The Bumble and Bumble works better for making my hair look super-thick.
Does anyone have a favorite Thickening or Volume hair product that they use (not shampoo/conditioners - I like mine)? I want my hair to be big, voluminous, and thick! (ps -all I do when I style it is a round brush and upside-down blow dry. I don't think I want to get more "style-intensive" that this...but if you have any suggestions they'll be appreciated too).

try the Matrix AMPLIFY line.
they offer a shampoo, conditioner, and a mousse. Try to stay away from Pantene products if you can, if you stick they're shampoo in a microwave, i heard it turns solid into a wax- gross!
The AMPLIFY line is great though. Just wash your hair and condition it with the shampoo and the conditioner, then apply two to three palmfulls of the mousse and blowdry.
If you want even more volume, then just lift up sections of hair around your crown, and spray it at the roots.
A really good hairstyle for volume is big, volumptious waves. Grab a 1 1/4 inch Hot Tools gold plated curling iron after your done blowdrying, and run the iron through 1 inch sections of hair quickly. This will give you a really flirty, romatic look, plus the curls add volume, and depth.
