Which colour shade can I use to make recently coloured dark violet/red hair lighter without Bleach?
I recently coloured my hair dark violet/red (my hair was already highlighted but washed out then) but it became super dark..it's so dark it looks black. Which shade should I use to make it lighter but without using any bleach? Is there a particular colour I can get from the hair store that can grasp on well? My natural hair colour is black.
First of all Color won't lift Color which means if you have already colored your hair dark a lighter color won't lift it. The only thing that will lift it is Bleach. I would go to a professional and get it changed because if you attempt this on your own you will end up with orange hair!
