Why does my hair when I put highlights in it turn reddish or when I dye it blonde without bleach?
it turns a light red? My natural haircolor is medium brown with some ashy blonde and very few red natural highlights in it. This spray-on product I bought says it will bring out your natural highlights. So, to ppl who know about haircolor, since my hair has turned kind of a bright reddish auburn color, from using this product, does this mean my hair's natural tones and highlights are red, I always thought it'd be blonde? Also, when I did dye my hair out of a light blonde box without bleach though it turned a really light red? Is that b/c my hair is dark so blonde coloring without bleach will make it red, or does that mean my hair has more red natural highlights in it than blonde highlights?
In order for your hair to reach a blonde color it has to go through all the spectrums, and red is before blond. All blonde haircolor has bleach in it, so yes you are using bleach.
