what grade is ideal for my age?
i turned 15 last week. I am working at a grade 5 piano , grade 5 theory and about grade 3 trumpet. To get into top unis or conservatoires you need grade 8 on principal study instrument, by working hard could i get my piano up to a grade 8? baring in mind i have 4 years till the audition.
my theory is getting better and better and i am doing the workbooks and should be grade 8 by the time i go to uni so thats good.
so would it be 100% possible to be
grade 5 trumpet or more
grade 8 piano
grade 8 thoery
??????
Grade 5 Trumpet, depending on your skill level. I'm Grade 8 Piano and I'm 16, not to brag. Keep working at it!
